March 2026 — Indicator review and framework refinement
A comprehensive review of all NEI indicators was completed. Titles and descriptions were refined across all 26 active indicators. Six candidate indicators were promoted to Standard status. Eleven redundant candidates were retired. The NEI website was reframed to lead with plain-language best practices rather than technical framework detail. A change-tracking system was added.
